Who we are

The service

The app helps parents speak English with their young children through short phrase cards, videos, songs and notes. A free account gives access to the intro and the first card of every moment. A subscription unlocks all content.

Your account

You need an account with a valid e-mail address. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete my account.

Subscription and payment

The subscription costs €8 per month (or the equivalent price shown in your local currency in the App Store or Google Play) and renews automatically every month until you cancel it.

In the iOS and Android apps you buy and manage the subscription through your Apple or Google account. Payment is charged to that account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

On the web you pay by card through Stripe and can cancel at any time in Account → Manage subscription. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the paid period.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; please cancel it in the store first.

Content and licence

All phrases, videos, texts and photos are owned by Betty's HOME or its licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own family. You may not copy, share, resell or publish it.

Liability

We do our best to keep the app available and the content accurate, but the app is provided as is. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters for your subscription, we will tell you in the app or by e-mail before it takes effect.
